Appleton delivers game-changing new LED solution for retrofitting High Bay lighting

Emerson is breaking barriers in the industrial lighting market once again with the new Appleton® Baymaster™ LED High Bay luminaire, featuring a patented Quick-Mount pendant system that makes it faster, safer and more cost-effective than ever to install high bay LEDs in harsh and hazardous locations.

Cost saving, one-person installation

Most high bay luminaries are heavy and in hard-to-reach locations, requiring two or more people to perform installations. Non-standard tools and scaffolding are typically needed too, causing delays and increasing costs. The Paymaster LED reduces labor costs with its low weight and timesaving Quick-Mount system. One electrician using standard tools can pre-wire the mounting hood, line the arrows up, and lock it into place.

Industrial-Strength Engineering

Reliability is the key to lower maintenance costs, so the Baymaster LED delivers unprecedented resistance to corrosion, vibration, surges, thermal shock, and moisture. It is rated for 84,000 hours with luminaire life that can exceed 200,000 hours depending on temperature. Plus, instant-on and cold-starts do not lead to degradation or premature failures as it does with competitors' lessor-quality luminaires.

Unrivaled Versatility & Light Quality

Choose from 6 lumen outputs, 2 color choices, and 4 light distribution patterns to ensure the diverse illumination needed in high bay applications. Secondary optics help shape the Baymaster's light to meet precise lighting needs, while eliminating glare and dark spots. With a choice of aisle, narrow, medium or wide beam spreads, it is possible to offer optimal light distribution in challenging areas such as warehouses and walkways.

Additional Features

  • For ease of maintenance the Baymaster has a field replaceable LED driver and lens cover.
  • Available options include: glare-reducing frosted glass lens, additional surge protection up to 10kV, alternate mounting system, and protective wire guards.
  • Standard warranty of 5 years and an extended 10-year warranty when the luminaire has secondary optics and 10kV surge protection.
  • Wide ambient temperature range of -40°C to +65°C (-40°F to +149°F) for reliable use in almost every environment.
